1) NXT Parts Assessment Scores are posted on eschool. (FYI: There was an error on the test in the wheels box. There was an extra arrow and problem. I am sorry if it caused you any confusion. No ones scores were negatively affected by that error.)
2) The Classroom Analysis Scores (aka The Cartoon) are also posted on eschool.
3) Several people have emailed me that they are finished their FLL Research Proposal. Before moving on to a new task, please make sure you are handing in a high quality proposal with high quality resources. This proposal is worth 100 points, and we are in the last two weeks of the marking period. 100 points can make or break your grade! You should check eschool before moving on to another task.
4) If you are confident that your FLL Research Proposal is going to earn you 90 points or higher, you may move on to reading some articles about successful teamwork. Please read the articles below and take notes on their key points. Be ready to share the key points in our classroom discussion on Friday.
Hello Folks,
During Terra Nova testing, you will be working under the guidance of Mr. Dulsky. I expect you to behave and work industiously during these days. I am allowing you to work on your FLL Research Proposals during this time, and I have increased my expectations about them since you will have additional time to work on them.
Mr. Dulsky will give you the Proposal handout, and I highly recommend that you read the Project FAQ listed below firstthing Tuesday when given independent/pair time. As we have 12 computers and 18 students, some team members will have to work in pairs. Thank you, in advance, to those students willing to pair up in class. Please note that these students will still have to submit independent proposals, but will be given credit for pair work in class.
If you have any questions over the next 3 days, please email them to me and I will get back to you promptly. karenhanssens@umtsd.org See you soon, Mrs. Hanssens
