This middle school literacy course integrates the disciplines of science, technology, and mathematics with language arts for the gifted student. Technotics A and Technotics B will be offered in alternate years as it is a course for seventh and eighth grade students. Ongoing readings in the areas of science, economics, and current events are paramount to this course. Effective communication skills in the areas of research, technical writing, and public speaking are developed throughout this course. Furthermore, divergent thinking and the use of technology are critical aspects of daily lessons.
